Huerta Cardenas earns NCCAA Offensive Player of the Week

Emmanuel Huerta Cardenas recorded some big numbers for Sterling College this week, highlighting his performance with a series victory over NAIA (20) Ottawa University. He recorded two hits in each of the three games against Ottawa with a double and two home runs. The senior from San Diego, California was incredibly patient at the plate as well, earning seven walks to end the week with a .461 batting average. Huerta Cardenas knocked in six RBI and scored four runs on the week to help Sterling move to 13-14 overall.
