Bio

Originally from Winters, Calif., Dylan Connolly came to Sterling College as the head baseball coach in 2017.

Before coming to Sterling, Connolly was no stranger to the KCAC. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education with an emphasis in coaching from York College in 2009 where he also played baseball. He also earned his master's degree in curriculum and instruction in 2018 from York.

As a player, he was honored with the Charlie Hustle Award at Butte College, and he earned MCAC All-Conference and NAIA All-Region honors as a shortstop at York College (2007, 2008) He was also recognized as a Rawlings NAIA National Gold Glove shortstop (2008).

Before joining Sterling College, Connolly honed his coaching skills at York College. He served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator from 2009-2013 and as the head assistant coach from 2014-2017.

During his time at Sterling, the team has achieved remarkable success, with 30 KCAC All-Conference players and 84 scholar athletes.

Connolly resides in Sterling with his wife and two children.
