Three Warriors earn NCCAA Central Region Second Team Honors

Sterling College is proud to announce the prestigious postseason honors awarded to three of its outstanding men's soccer athletes by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Jonathan Torres, Ruben Guzman and Chimela "Praise" Orji were all recognized as NCCAA Central Region Second Team selections for their exceptional performances during the 2025 soccer season.

Torres was top five in the NCCAA in shots per game averaging 3.24. In 17 games he scored three goals and had three assists, leading the Warriors in points with 9. Throughout the year, Torres took 22 shots on goal out of 55 shots. Guzman totaled four goals on the season for a total of 8 points with 20 shots take, 17 of them on gao. Orji had three goals and one assist for a total of 7 points on the season. He took 27 shots, 17 of which were on goal.
