Warriors get the 7-0 win over Moundbuilders at home

Warrior tennis dominated Southwestern College in the final regular season contest at home, getting the decisive 7-0 win.

Sterling started with a sweep of the doubles matches, with Kyosuke Ishida and Kazuki Fukushima getting the 6-1 win over Drake Lowe and Jeremiah Johnson in no. 1 doubles. In the no. 2 doubles match, Robin Baransi and Abhyudit Nagar beat Connor Stampley and Kobe Schlegel 6-0. Sterling won the no. 3 doubles match by forfeiture due to a lack of players from Southwestern.

It was all Warriors in the doubles matches with Ishida winning the no. 1 singles game over Lowe 6-1, 6-0. Rubem Bogomoltz represented Sterling in the no. 2 singles play with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Johnson. In no. 3 singles, Baransi beat Stampley 6-0, 6-1 while Nagar beat Schlegel 6-1, 6-0 in the no. 4 singles match.

The Warriors got the no. 5 and no. 6 singles wins by forfeiture.

The Warriors will be competing in the KCAC playoffs beginning April 23. Conference contests are still being played to determine opponent, place and location of the match.
