Viehland named KCAC Pitcher of the Week
WICHITA, Kan. — MacKenzie Viehland of Sterling College and Macy Roever of Ottawa University have earned the KCAC Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 31-April 6 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Viehland pitched an impressive seven-inning shutout against Bethany College, leading the Lady Warriors to a 3-0 victory. She had a standout game with 11 strikeouts, only surrendering three hits with no walks or runs allowed. Viehland also recorded a whip of .43 and a perfect fielding percentage.
