Clason Earns KCAC Offensive Player of the Week
WICHITA, Kan. — Korynn Clason of Sterling College and Abby Dietsche of Ottawa University have earned the KCAC Women's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Dec. 4-10 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Offensive Player of the Week
Korynn Clason - Sterling College
5-10 | Jr. | G | Cambridge, Neb.
Clason dominated both sides of the ball this week, and was critical in Sterling going 2-0 this week. Her 41-point single-game performance ties a Sterling College record, and it was also the difference in a three-point road win. Not only did she score 41, but she dished out 6 assists in the game. She led the team in scoring, rebounds, blocks, and was second in assists, and steals.

Defensive Player of the Week
Abby Dietsche - Ottawa University
6-1 | Jr. | F | Highland, Ark.
In two games Dietsche had eight blocks, four steals, and 15 defensive rebounds, averaging four blocks, two steals, and 7.5 defensive rebounds per game. Dietsche is ranked no. 1 in the NAIA in blocks this season with 29, averaging 2.9 per game. This marks the second time this season that Dietsche has been named the KCAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
