Tominaga Named KCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

WICHITA, Kan. — Sofia Tominaga of Sterling College was named the KCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. Tominaga was selected for her performances from February 19-25 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Tominaga started the spring season with a big win at Baker. Dominant in all aspects of the match, she kept her opponent scoreless in singles and had a big doubles win. The preseason KCAC Team selection has started the season living up to her lofty expectations.
