Bucek was huge for the Threshers as they swept their two Friday competitions. In Bethel's 6-1 victory over Ottawa Arizona, Bucek paired up with Kollar to win at #1 doubles 6-1. He also won at #1 singles with a tiebreak first set victory before cruising to a 6-2 second set win. Bethel picked up their first victory over a receiving votes team in Gabe Johnson's tenure, and Bucek was a big part of that victory. Milan and his teammate were trailing 4-1 in doubles before mounting a comeback to win the tiebreaker 7-3 giving BC the doubles point. Bucek earned his second point of the day as he beat Starman in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
