Spence Takes NCCAA Defensive POTW Honors for First Time as Warrior

Jakobi Spence was the hero for Sterling College this past week on the defensive end, highlighted by two blocked field goals to secure a 26-25 win over Saint Mary University. In addition to the blocked field goals, Spence recorded an interception, five solo tackles, four assisted tackles, and two pass deflections from his defensive back position. The freshman from Phoenix, Arizona added 77 yards on kick returns to put Sterling in great position for their offense to get in the end zone.
